Global Youth United and friends gathered for our 2014 End of Year Student Summations of Service on April 26th at the University of Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia High School Chapters of GYU were on hand to present their findings after a year of experiential-based service learning.
What did the process look like? How did everything start? From MDGs and SMART Goals, to decision making and implementation, how did the learning process unfold? How were tasks were divided?
What challenges did the students face? Did something go wrong? How did they fix it? Was it difficult to get through any part of the process? What did they learn from these challenges?
What is the importance of what they've done? What is a global network? What difference have they made? How can the work of students be continued (here, and around the world!) and why should it be continued?
GYU congratulates all its participants for their fantastic presentations, and fruitful year of service. Great job, all!
